HMS "Tally-Ho", completed in April 1943, started her first war patrol from Ceylon on Oct. 26th 1943. On Jan. 11th 1944 she sank the cruiser "Kuma" off Penang, and the submarine UIT-23 (ex-Italian) in Malacca Strait on Feb. 15th 1944. After several patrols she departed for Europe on Dec 2nd 1944.

The T classes were also joined by a number of S class subs, a couple of Dutch subs, some mine laying subs and the 2 support ships HMS Adamant and Maidstone.

I may look into this. Have done some research on this and found some good info. I need something to do as both OM and RSRDC have run their course. If I do it, may make it part of RSRDC or make it a stand only, not sure yet.

Lurker you could also consider adding the proper flotillas in the mediterranean and north sea, from what I have seen in the mission editor OM is very complete in that regard, featuring a lot of axis coastal traffic.

I don't see this as a problem, if I do this it will be for "all" theaters, but it will be in phases like OM/RSRDC

Expanding on the Med and home waters\Atlantic theatres, you could also add the S & U class subs aswell.

If somebody needs something to read, I can highly recommend

One of our Submarines
by Edward Young, Commander, D.S.O., D.S.C.,R.N.V.(S.)R.

Published in 1952, so no ISBN...

Some image from the book:

HMS Tribune taking in diesel oil from depot ship after patrol

HMS Storm entering Haslar Creek, Gosport, on her return from the Far East

Have a nice Holiday!

The working title will be “We Dive at Dawn” (WDAD)

Phase One will be the “Far East Fleet Ops” based out of Ceylon and Australia with a start date of Jan 42. This is based on patrol data from this site:

http://home.cogeco.ca/~gchalcraft/sm/

and specifically the patrols of the HMS Trusty

http://home.cogeco.ca/~gchalcraft/sm/page25.html

Patrol objectives will be created from of a composite of the operations of the various T-Class.

Phase two will be T / U Class boats operating in the North Sea / Norwegian Coastal Area

Phase Three will be the Mediterranean.

I have gotten a copy of VAA's U-Class which I have up and running and currently awaiting the OK from him to use it.

I figure Phase one will take a few months to workup and test

This mod from a “historical” point will be at the same level of RSRDC / OM

On page 99 of "The T-class submarine: The classic British design", there's a photo of HMS Trenchant returning to Fremantle sporting a very strange paint scheme. It might not be the dazzle paint design but it doesn't look standard either.

*EDIT*
And on page 120, HMS Thrasher is definitely sporting a dazzle paint scheme. Although the picture is post war (October 1945), there is no way they would repaint her just before scrapping her so it's almost certainly a wartime scheme.

found it ! :

p.99

P.120

and the one Jan found :

HMS Storm entering Haslar Creek, Gosport, on her return from the Far East

I definetely like the first one !

If someone would be so kind as to make a skin for the T Class with that paint scheme, I'd be a happy sailor indeed

Don't forget the S-class! I can't wait to have this on my conning tower.
