Excellent, thanks Nate. Really glad the compatibility is on track.
Spotted the animations bit on ED boards just now as well. Hopefull that it means the full package, the new modeling for those is truly superb.

According to the update topic, they've updated the CDU in 1.1.1.0.
From what I read it downloads information when you land, and resets your waypoint back to the first in the list. Great for re-fueling and rearming. I took the A-10c up in the air after a week hiatus of FSX. I loaded up the Sitting ducks mission and was expecting some easy target practice. Lets just say the results were not as intended. First I hit space to to turn on the clickable cockpit which fired a burst of GAU rounds. I then overflew the targets, and got hit by an AA round. I try again to turn on the clickable cockpit, and hit CTRL+C instead of ALT+C, there goes the canopy. Luckily there was a nearby friendly airport , which I quickly landed at. Damages: Left wing tip missing, left wheel shreeded, bullet holes in body and wing, loss of CDU, and loss of canopy due to pilot error. Thought I had pictures, but apparently I was mistaken. What's the default screenshot button? I thought it was Print Screen, but that didn't save any screens.

It's just some automated operations though, don't see how it helps in refeuling or rearming. That's the one, screenies go to C:\Users\user\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\ScreenShots

I don't mean it helps with re-arming/re-fueling, I mean it helps us lazy people not have to scroll back to the first waypoint. And my apologies, didn't realize it was Nate who had said it in the first place.
Ah, That's what confused me, I have the steam version and there is a Screen Shots folder inside the DCS folder, when I saw that it was empty I figured I did something wrong. Pictures! I kind of drifted across the ground after landing, surprised the bird didn't roll or break to be honest.

You know you can press F12 and Steam snaps a screenshot, right?
Soo, no Ka-50 compatibility? |

Of course, was just under the impression that we'd get both patches around the same time.

Doesn't work for me, Steam closes the overlay a second after starting DCS.

Is in-game overlay enabled in Steam settings?

Aye, works for all my other games. But when I start A-10, it shows that I'm playing for a second and shows that I'm not playing anything. I get the little advertisement window that you usually get when you finish playing a game, and DCS works like normal.

I need to practice landing the plane, so I set up a simple scenario where I would start in flight with waypoints, and divert over to Batumi. I set the plane with full munitions but low level of fuel.
I start with my plane over water. The only thing I failed to realize is the scale of the Mission editor. I end up farther out to sea than I had initially planned for. I start heading towards Batumi and I speed up time to 15x the normal. The sound of the master alarm going off makes me revert time back to normal. The plane is starting to complain about lack of fuel pressure. Fast forward a bit and I can start to see land in the horizon, 2 minutes later, I lose engine power and electrical power. I emergency jettison all my armaments, set the speed brakes, flaps, and drop the gear(figured any resistance to help slow me down would be great). I have to fight with the plane to try and keep it level, but eventually I make a splash down. Too bad water landings aren't properly modeled. The plane flips over and immediately starts sinking. I guess I should have just saved time and ejected.
