EVERYTHING IS WORK IN PROGRESS

Our new Hurricane WIP (Engine tools)

A quick look at ship damage. We have highly detailed ships, with damage nearly approaching that of aircraft in Il-2.
It's incredibly satisfying to see them break up in lots of different ways.

This is how the sim looks in DX9 right now, the simplest of all possible renders. The final version will look better with DX9, but DX11 will offer the best visuals.

holy sweet mother of god!!!! Those pits look AMAAAAZZING! Are they fully clickable? OMG I want this now... if only then they can pass it onto the BoBII devs and put insane AI in and we're sorted.

I wonder what kind of system you will need to fly this with all the bells and whistles attached... pretty insane stuff is it coded for 64bit/multi-core cpu's? Would be madness!!! ....

THIS...

IS...

OLEG!...

lol sorry had to do it just watched it!

I don't believe instruments are clickable, I seem to remember Oleg saying that they toyed with the idea but decided against it as it added months to dev time for each and every cockpit and variation. If I come across the quote again Il post it here.

Oh ffs... what crap. Clickable pit's are becoming the norm especially when you look at DCS Black Shark... shame on you Oleg! Back to BoBII then!!!!!

wonder if they will implement decent engine sounds and a better audio system this time, the stock il2 1946 engine sounds where terrible ..sounded nothing like ww2 fighters.

all very well having nice graphics , most dev teams fall short of audio production.

nearest so far for decent engine sounds is pc version wings of prey.
with time the dev team say there are improving the engine whine even more.

To be honest I won't except anything less than a original recording of a merlin lol... anything else is just fraking lazy!!!!!

I can't help but think I'm going to be disappointed though... the AI... sound... flight models... no clickable pits. With BoBII in its latest and greatest incarnation SoW has a BIG mountain to climb!
