The only gripe I've got is it takes about 5 minutesfor it to go under lol god help me after '43! AALLLLAARRRRM!!!!! "Ok lads, all set she's going under, I'm off to make myself a brew, back in 5!" lol.

Kaleuns,I just admire the shape of mine Type IXB U-123.You know it's like a large, mighty Gran Tourismo sports car, ready to hit any distance.I think it's more beautiful than any other submarine ever created.

Little question here,Kaleuns.Do you know, whether Type IX U-Boats were camo painted in real life?Looking through old black and white photos, and all of them appear in plain grey, perhaps light grey colours. Moreover, found nice info on plain white U-boats!

Yes, they're still playing. I wish I had time to join them again. Best role playing fun I've had in a long, long time. *wistful sigh*

I have been going through the naval school to improve my hunting and firing skills a bit. There is no way I could go back to a VII or a II. I cant cope with so few torps. I look at the screen and think 'where are all my torps'. Its just wrong!

Hello fellow Kaleuns:
Started a new career with an IXB sub, and I must say it's a big difference with the other types. i think that from now on this will be my choice. Wow, what a piece of machine!!!!
I hope I can be admited in this club.
Thanks a lot.

It's Aug 1940, I am in 2nd Flotilla, using U-48 Type VIIB.
IXB is already avaliable, but when can I buy a IXC in current career?

I believe you can find this kind of info in the GWX manual
If you play without mod: use the ?-button in upgrade screen.

I think all U-Boats have got their own spirit. Some of them are very successfull, some get sunk during the first patrol. And some of them are immortal and mystic - like Type IXB U-123 U-Boat.

Just look into those facts:

* 12 patrols and over of 220 000 tonns sunk during the whole war.
* Scuttled in August,1944.
* After lying on the bottom for a whole year, the U-Boat is raised by French forces in 1945 and becomes a submarine of the French Navy.
*Another 14 years of service until 1959.
*Nobody knows where the U-Boat is now,as it was decomissioned in 1959.

Will anybody say that this U-Boat is not of the very special kind?
