Proof in the pudding...
That the only difference between men and boys
is the price of their toys. It all looks great, Magic! I only wish I could afford something like it. But, alas, my basement tends to hydrate after a heavy rain and we all know that water and electronics don't mix. If I did build one of those, it would be the "O" scale like I had when I was a kid. Even more expensive than HO

That Shay is awesome, and the whistle on them is chilling. Let me see, where did I put that video?

It doesn't hydrate that bad!
But enough to make anything metallic oxidize. It would be a hoot to build a RC version of a Gato class sub but, the kit for that runs around $700.00.

Very nice video.

I find the peripheral modelling of a layout like this even more interesting than the rolling stock (do you use that phrase in the US?) so I love the houses and trees.
Just one thing: that guy on the sidewalk in the brown sweater... has he just stepped in a doggie doo-doo? |

But this is really phantastic, like the "fall" atmosphere, it almost looks as if there's some heavy rain on the way with the dark blue background. I envy you, i have neither the time nor the place (still continueing building the house), but i like this thread very much! Have some put on sideboards or in a showcase though .. Thanks and greetings, Catfish |
