Have I got a serious problem for YOU guys.
OK... new PC will be here in 2 weeks. The question is... how the hell do I get my campaign with GWX off one box AND ONTO ANOTHER!?
I need advanced "sub-tech-support" here. Ideas geniuses?

Your careers are in C:\Documents and Settings\***\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers
Copy the career folder to the same pathway on the new comp |

Where do you find the set up of the mines and sub nets?

Not quite the GWX files but your saved careers
This stuff you can simply copy over to ...\My Documents\... on your new HDD. You have to reinstall SH3 though because Windows (most likely) needs the registry key for SH3 which gets established then. One of those annoying Windows habits. Maybe it's also possible by locating the SH3 key in your current Windows registry, export it and reinstall it under Windows of your new PC. But that's a very unsafe idea, better do a reinstall |

Well, since I've been doing a bunch of stuff for GWX. I figured I'd add something else.
Call it a gift, call it an upgrade, call it what you will. For the people who want something a bit different to the current GWX Dev Team sig image. Enjoy! |
