Nice work ! I really want to try this one, but I have a question regarding the compatibility:
I am using SH4 with patch 1.4 and the TMO mod. Will Environment 5.0 work this combination ? Especially the folder #3 Submarine Splash Sound would overwrite a lot of the TMO files !? Again, thanks for your effort W_clear !

W_Clear,
Absolutely gorgeous! I have great respect for your aesthetic taste and dedication to this project. The complexity which you have been adding to the environment is simply spectacular and adds so much toward the realism of the simulation. I have wondered at times if anything could be done to add more realism to the starry skies when few or no clouds are present. For example more stars, more degrees of luminosity and color and the addition of the planetary movements. I have realistic illustrative abilities but cannot program. Do you think this is possible within the Environment Mod? SD |

Night Sky
W_Clear,
I would try but would not know where to begin. Access to star coordinates, magnitudes and colors are readily available, yet even with that information at hand the location of the star fields within SH4 is obscure. There must be a database somewhere in the \Data folder. I will look but perhaps someone might have an idea where it might be? Maybe it's just a matter of expanding this database. If that is all there is to it I'ld be willing and able to deliver. Any scrap of information will send Scurvy Dog on his merry way. :p SD |

You and W_clear should work together on one mod. The results would be awesome i guess !
