True:

I have seen so much of it, the storms with their towering waves, and beautiful sunrises, sunsets, the moon as its just rising. I remember when I got my new video card and saw the huge waves the first time with the new water effects, my, they looked so real. Really gave you a sense of it all.

One of my personal favorites is at night in a dead calm, the sea like glass, I'll hit F10 and just look around at the night, the waves from the deck gun position. I can sit there for hours, just imagining the whole thing. Looking back and up at the guys in the conning tower. Looking over the side with the rail as the water gently goes by. You could forget you're on a ship designed to kill, in the middle of a war.

ANother, was at night and needed to surface to recharge my batteries, and reduce the carbon monoxide, after sneaking into Lock Ewe, another perfect night. I pulled her up close to a bank in a little inlet. Just a beautiful night the water like glass, all the while knowing where you just stopped and parked.

If there was more free will written into the crew AI, I think they would have gone swimming that night.
