Things got hairy up there today. Free hunt around Arras (enenmy held territory, I was asking for it). Got jumped by a couple of froggies. I downed one of them, and in the confusion that followed, I managed to escape.

Catatonic states, nervous shaking, jabbering nonsense and complete breakdowns, to name but a few.

Erich Loewenhardt of Jasta 10 goes down at the hands of Major James Bigglesworth. This kill rises Bigglesworths claims to 61. (35 confirmed) May 1917.
For real, Erich Loewenhardt became the third best pilot in the german airforce during WWI. He died on the 10th of August, 1918, when he crashed into a Fokker D.VII during a dogfight. He bailed out, but his parachute didn't open, so he fell to his death from around 12.000 feet. The poor boy...he was only 21...The pilot in the Fokker survived though.

Teaches them Russians not to mess with the JG53.
Take off Forming up Sneaky buggers! Almost missed them. Munz gives no mercy for the enemy. And what the leader does, the rest follows. Kill #44 Kill #45 Kill #46 As if the situation wasnt bad enough for the enemy, our flak sends it's greetings. The fight was quickly over with every enemy bomber destroyed. Oopsie! Oh well, everyone's back home safely. |
