As to whether you listen to them...your choice. However, since my family was almost wiped out due to the war, you'll understand if I do not go along with this. I for one have no problems playing the game, but I will not do so while listening to the praises of a man who is directly responsible for over 50 deaths in my family.

I salute you for having the sensitivity to put this out and ask opinions instead of running the risk of offending seriously some. Not only that, but it sure seems like you are responding quickly and appropriately to the feedback you are getting.

I also have to salute those who have provided 'constructive criticism' and 'positive feedback' in a non-destructive and non-confrontational manner. A true sign of how mature this group of game-players are.

Jeez, the man is already dead, chill...

Good part of my family (gooooood part) was killed as well, but war is war, this sh!t happens, people have to die, if its not my family, will be my neighboor's family. Past is past, shouldn't hurt. Realism is what matters for me. If in WW2 those sailors really did listen to songs praising Hitler, I dont have a problem listen to it while I'm playing, coz Im doing it for realism, not praising him. He's dead, means nothing nowdays.

All you guys have to chillout about Hitler, he's not coming back.

I may be wrong but it is my understanding that U-Boot crews smuggled their records aboard. Once at sea they replaced the propaganda music with their own.

Does anyone know if this is correct

There have been a lot of pro & con on what to leave or not leave in regard to the music. My own opinnion is that I will, mostly, lean towards sensitivity.

Jeder hat das Recht auf eine Stellungnahme. Mine ist mir die Hölle vor diesem Boot.

I always like to think this was the case... I'm a lenient captain when it comes to contraband
