In the course of ship, splitting in 2... do both halves, sink independent of the other... or does it still follow that pattern of both sinking together, as if it was still 1 whole ship. On 1 hand, it is kind of annoying, watching a ship that split in half, sinking as if it was still whole... though, that would be more of a... minor annoyance. Knowing there are limitations on things... though, it doesn't mean that they can't be worked out to game the system, into certain... actions, if one is knowledgeable of the inner workings, as it were. As is, SH3... has come a long way, since it was 1st released & to see all that has been accomplished in the time, since... it is amazing to see the course of evolution since then. Just... wondering... M. M.

So, i guess they're independent, most of the times both halfs sank togheter, but this can be really different Best regards, Vd

Well done ! A sad aspect is that your 3D models are not (or not fully) edge splitted (SH3 doesn't handle hard edges)... But it's not so noticeable anyway...

The .zon file of a ship can work very well in a supermod, and not in another supermod which may have a different Zones.cfg, and Shells.zon (Library)... In my personal installation, the bow part of the "tre pipe" torpedo boat doesn't sink at all !... Last edited by Mister_M; 02-14-22 at 08:47 AM. |
