27 destroyers were searching for me near Alexandria. Depth charging for more than 24 hours. I survived.
I believe that in this game DDs are like cops in GTA? Unlimited. |

I've seen only one naval sim game where ships were really limited - an old DOS pirate sim called Sea Legends (retro gaming enthusiasts go grab this one if you can, seriously). In this game, there was a limited pool of named ships, so if one of them was captured by enemy, it stayed in enemy's hands. If it was sunk, shipyard in its home port started building it again - so there was constant amount of ships at sea but they could change hands to a point where I managed to capture entire Spanish fleet and sell it to French and British |

Up close and personal:
Too bad there's no option to send over a boarding party with scuttling charges. |

Sailing darkened to avoid being seen by U-Boats - very clever, until you realize others can't see you too:

Okay since I was really inactive in my past 10 years on the forum, time to break the silence a little
-Mom! Can we watch Titanic in the cinema? -We have Titanic at home Titanic at home: When you have a mission and have to resist the urge I'm near the bottom of the pic submerged, hiding (near the srait of dover with 10s of destroyers patrolling) That was a close one I was busy watching 3 other ships sinking lol On my way to raid Scapa Flow about 100km away I never felt so much tension before lol The silent hunter Nothing better than sinking all alone in the middle of the Atlantic This ship literally took only 1 deck gun hit and down she went

Baltic operation
The Baltic operation takes me about 6 hours, but I have a great time working with my Nautisches Jahrbuch, Messkarte zur Auflösung sphärischer Dreiecke and F-Tafel.
