More frequently is an understatement thats for sure.
In the Ori game I knew how to break a wire and would RARELY break a wire once out of the tube With Epic the torp can be out of the tube and 5 secs later "We've lost the wire" 90% of the time. There is an issue here certainly.

If bearing to torpedo is more then 65 degrees to the right or left then there appears possibility to break wire. This possibility is checked every 5 seconds and increases with bearing. Also wirebreak speed is hardcoded now and values from weapons.txt are ignored. Wirebreak can occur at speeds higher than 10 knots with increasing possibility. At 20 knots possibility is 100%. you can run straight ahead at 5 knotts and the wire breaks.
Ive noticed that if the torp is set to active, the percentages go up slightly that the wire does NOT break.
