Hi @THEBERBSTER
Actually I have custom defined download and install directories that are different for both Steam and UBisoft. Steam installs and downloads go into my D:\ drive in a root "Steam" directory and UBIsoft goes into my E:\ drive in my UBIsoft root directory. Always been that way for it them as I keep my C:\ drive for Windows and office only to make my system as speedy as possible. I will be so happy when I can finally play LOL Wish I knew if I purchased the download key if I could paste it into Uplay and it would be independent of Steam. Like I mentioned before, the way Steam works is they send out keys that are applied only to Steam. So UBIsoft sees the key as being a Steam key and it triggers Steam to install instead of seeing it as their own Steamless version that would initiate a download and install from UPlay singularily. |
