You can make more realistic storms, but you need a balance.

You can make or design waves or swells as big as you please, the downfalls, using TC, you'll find yourself constantly submerging and surfacing. Bigger waves damage ships, which is no real problem, but mostly those in port get major damage. However, this effect doesn't bother me.

You could adjust storm colors in env to be darker.

Add more dramatic storm sounds.


I've done all the above. The main issue I have is you can't control wave size, don't like massive storm waves with clear blue skies.

However, it is rather fun to pull off an attack with larger waves. If swells are large enough, even at scope depth your sub may surface or broach.
