Only one that came out properly:
All my screenshots tend to fall apart after resizing, anything of interest being reduced to a mere bunch of blurry pixels.

That's me, I remember opening my canopy and airbrakes (more on them later) as I passed you.
Lined up with Raptor01, brakes released. Along the North bank of that river, targets, thousands of them. Turns out I was the target. Engine fire, fuel to that engine was cut and extinguisher discharged to no effect, even cutting off the fuel (rather than just pulling the handle) had no effect on the flames. Once I'd established a safe airspeed and got to grips with the asymetry I found and circled Spike88 in his Ka-50, suprising him with my flame-grilled, smokey display. Then I grew up and decided to head for home. With the LMFCD out, and me not entirely (at all) au fait with moving things to the right, I headed down the coast and turned in towards our old base knowing that our new home was roughly inline eastwards! It's out there somewhere, the HASs are better camoflaged than I was used though! Got it! Nearly down. Once there I didn't seem to be slowing as much as I should. Then Seaniam81 reminded me I had airbrakes Too late though! At least I was able to climb out ... ...but only after I'd sat there thinking how awesome I am.

Something to note: the wheel brakes are on the left hydraulic system. If you lose the left engine, yank the emergency brake after touchdown.
(Yes, just looked that up, had a suspicion)

I'm throwing in a vote for tonight's mission to be a night mission. Anyone not want a night mission?

Think both Arclight and Raptor1 were against night missions when we flew them the last time.
At any rate, I'll be post-poning the flights until I get the new parts for my rig. |

Yep, they were against it, could maybe ask for a pre-dawn start to give you some form of darkness!

So most likely it'll just be HBB, Arc, and I flying. Unless raptor does show up.

I always show up, it's just that usually I'm dragged off to do other stuff.
Anyway, I don't particularly like the night missions. But if everyone else wants them, fine...

We could do it in the Early AM so that by the time you get on It's Day. Although Twilight and Dawn are terrible.

That's what I'm against, that twilight. Can't see a thing with the Mk.1 nor the goggles.
At night is preferably for me; goggles provide nice contrast to spot targets, but with the snowy textures now that's fairly easy as it is. So either way... rather not fly the Shark at night though, which is what I was planning on flying.

I want to fly the Shark at night just so I can play with the spotlight.

It's your house, arc, paint it anyway you want and we'll still come to the party.

Shkval doesn't lock at night, optical tracking tends to be fairly useless then. Same for Mav-H on the A-10.
Really isn't a night flyer, but could make it work. Doesn't matter to me, I'm equally capable of finding a way to get shot down at day or night.
