Hmm now it seems the video links are working.
My guess is yahoo is now using localized servers based in Singapore, Hong Kong and my own country. Still no longer able to rate US based news and unable to read replies and unable to reply to those comments when they are accessed through these local servers. At least the vids are now working(streaming) through these localized servers.
