This, THIS is why I hate the increase of electronics in modern cars. Yes it may be more convenient...when it works.
Gone are the days when you could open the bonnet up and not need a degree in electronics to fix your motor.

As my Dad put it: "Why do that make cars so you can not repair them any more. 12 years of owning an old Landrover and in that time only one breakdown but repaired the next day. A 53 reg fiesta cost £70 for a man to come out and he could not find the fault."

Aye, there's quite a few cowboys about. That's the problem, you get people saying that they can work with cars and perhaps they could, ten years ago...now though, now it needs a bloke with a degree in electronics to work it.

I have an infrared remote and all the locks on the car (except the one for the gasoline tank) are broken
