I watched the footage when the original program broadcast and it was a real shock then that anyone could do that, let alone two people several times. I had no idea about what followed.

Same but I already knew what followed and must admit to feeling a tad frustrated that the WHOLE story couldn't be released at the time.

I saw this on the Motorway cops show here in Australia and was shocked by it. I felt more sorry for the police and the public who caught up in it.

What happened after was never mentioned, other than what was publicly stated at the end of the program (one charged for assault on police and the other in hospital)

I can't blame the police for what happened, as they have little say in what happens to people they arrest. Even if they did commit (section) her, there is such a lack of beds (here in Australia and I'm sure else where) that they wouldn't have anywhere to place her.

My sympathy for the next of kin of the dead man.
