Can U-boats in GWX mod carry two types of RWR at the same time: first covering VHF-band and second covering S-band or S/X-band frequencies? Was it possible in reality?
- for instance: FuMB-9 "Zypern II" (VHF) and FUMB-7 "Naxos" (S-band) using the same FuMB-3 "Bali" antenna in the 11.1943-9.1944 period. - or maybe two separate antennas could be installed for each RWR? For example: FuMB-26 "Tunis" (S,X-band) with FuMB-24/25 "Cuba I/II" antennas and FuMB-10 "Borkum" (VHF) with FuMB-6 "Palau" or FuMB-3 "Bali" antenna in the 1944-45 period. Yet maybe it was unnecessary because as war progressed Allies switched completely to S and X band radars abandoning older VHF-band types? Last edited by Gorshkov; 06-28-10 at 11:42 AM. |

CTD usually on loading is due to the program looking for a file that is either corrupted or missing. If you have disabled all your mods and still get CTD with none activated, you probably will have to reinstall.

Now after some thoughts I consider SH3 game as a thing of the past. Therefore I definitely finished my SH3 game-play.
Bye, bye SH3! Last edited by Gorshkov; 06-30-10 at 10:23 AM. |

With your eyes, just like a real kaleun.
But if you have not disabled the external cam, you can zoom up close enough to get a good look at them. If you've disabled it, you'll have to get your u-boat close enough to identify it either through the binocs if you're surfaced or the periscope if you're submerged. So if you're hooked on playing as realistically as possible, it really is just a matter of getting close enough to ID it. There is a "flags enlighten" mod that's designed to make it a little easier to ID them; info here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=flags If full realism is not something you're concerned about, you can also try this mod: http://www.filefront.com/13913010/GWX-Contact_Color.7z It adds back in the colors for contacts on your nav map, which will allow you to distinguish between enemy, neutral, and friendly ships when they show up there. Oh and welcome aboard! |

Re the u-boat location marker, I think this mod restores it: http://www.filefront.com/15467417/Umark.7z/ but you might want to wait and see if someone else chimes in to confirm that, since I'm going on memory of other posts and haven't used it myself. |
