I doubt anybody will. We're cursed with cookie cutter arcade garbage for all eternity. Niche genres don't net the big money that the time-tested twitch-n-play eye pleasers generate. Practically all media is the same - take a look at blockbuster films and television. It's all the same, has been for years.
