Default Mod confusion suggestion

Hi all

I'm thinking this might help with the mod jumble. I use it for several games myself. It is free.

Generic Mod Enabler v2.0.0 (22 October 2007)

"Do you have a game that can be "modded"? As you know, the number of "must have" mods for any game can run into the tens, if not hundreds. The Generic Mod Enabler takes most of the hassle out of installing and uninstalling mods from your game. It has been tested with European Air War, Panzer Elite, Silent Hunter III/IV, Total War and various other games but should work with just about any moddable game."

Thanks for the suggestion Raymond, but I don't think ZeeWolf uses this bit of software,I can't remember the reason.

It is good though,I used it for Steel Fury, with its multitude of different mods.

Thanks raymond6751, I love JGME I use it with SH-III and IV but that was
tried already and was a disaster. It seamed that the Vista and Win7 guys
had most if not all the trouble figuring it out (and of course nobody reads
the instructions) so I said the hell with it.
BTW the use of the Auto-installer method creates a storm of issues for some
of the Vista and Win7 guys. So the mire thought of adding another layer to that
confusion is something (at this time) am not ready for

Default JSGME vs Autoinstal

Raymond 6751 while the JSGME system works well with Steel Fury or Panzer Elite and I use it for these games but for ZeeWolf's mods his autoinstal system is very user-friednly and a much better solution. The JSGME is fun when you have a huge variety of mods which may or may not be compatible but at the stage of TvsT it's not yet an issue. Most of ZeeWolf's mods are compatible anyway except the High end user and Low end user ones.

Cheers

I still have NO text appear for mission and description.I followed ZW's instructions on what to install as well.
I just installed the latest files (x4) and I have to click where the mission name ought to be.I then get a map but no text. When the mission starts it's called 'Tigers in Russia 1943'

Please help

No problem Chucky you just need the Kursk mission 1 file installed in the right
location. The Kursk missions are the only ones that go in the Project Zewolf
menu.

Cheers Kamerad!

Default Latest Install

Chucky are you talking about the latests relelase with new German mission 3, mission 4, May up dates and Soviet mission 3( night misssion)?

OK if it os just uninstall it.Then copy the downloaded file wherever you kept it( in a separate folder I assume?). and paste it into your Tvst main folder. There just extract it.Don't use administrator right just right click it.Then you;ll see 4 application folders. Install each in turn making sure they are placed in the right folder( mine is C:/Programmes/Lighthouse Interactive/T34 versus Tiger). Each in tunr. Then open the game and you should have the new games into the main menu of the game( the new mission 4 is called Break Red Army Pinchers it's different from what it was before the last release.Don't look in to the Kursk ZeeWolf folder the new missions are not there!

Hope it helps!

Tell me

Cheers Kamerad Hang on

I just installed the latest release into C:\Lighthouse Interactive\T34vsTiger where I have the game.

I click on Single Player,I have USSR,Germany and Project ZeeWolf.

In USSR I have only 'Attacking Krinovichi'.
In Germany I have only 'Tigers shake Kurtenki'.
In Project ZeeWolf I have only 'Operation Zitadelle'.

ZeeWolf made me re-install....
The MEMBERS ONLY Kursk Mission 1 file and I got mission and mission text.

Something is all wrong I feel.

Oh wow Chucky that is exactly the way the stock game starts too - remember?
You need to play the missions one at a time for the next mission to
appear. And once you complete the campaign all the missions show.
There is a work around in the registry, but I get a sick sinking feeling at
the thought of you guys going in the Registry.

Don't worry Chucky just start playing the Campaign you will see what I
mean

Vorwärts Kameraden!
