You just need to survive the draft, which can be fun, but it just takes awhile to get through it

. It takes about 2 hours and is a big hassel on my end. But, it is worth it.

You basically pick a: qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, a kicker, TE, a team defense, and some reserve players (I forget how many

). Yahoo's FF is pretty easy, it's just click and drag to change players. You need to monitor your team to make sure you have all the spots filled each week.

Does the draft go like: ( Round 1 ) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.... then ( Round 2 ) 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.... then ( Round 3 ) 1,2,3... ??

Also, has AVG been contacted, he was in last year.

on a side note:
I need input on the draft type we do: on-line or off-line?
Online: Pros: Faster (timewise)
Cons: must be organised or yahoo picks for you.

Off-line:
Pros: tradition~comradery, user friendly, no rush to decide, if you can't attend, I pick for you.

Cons: Slow (may take 2 hours), must have a working mic and yahoo voip working.
Oh, on a draft day note, late Aug would be great Sat or sun. The first week of sept is really bad for me, as have have my civil war stuff.
If you can't make the draft, it's not the end of the world, we can work out the details.

I don't like Yahoo picking for you, so now I am thinking Off-line, but does not really matter in the end.

mookie, if there are others interested then Jason had mentioned he could add more than just the one.

I prefer an offline draft but am open to the online.

One thought: For an offline draft you really don't need a microphone. You can just type your picks in the chatroom when it's your turn. You do need speakers though.
