the yamato REQUIRES all 10 torps, you get parellel to her (preferably head on) so you get a rear firing solution the fastest.
wait for last second and let all forward fish go spaced apart if you can then WAIT untill the rear tubes can fire and let then all go. now crash dive and get the hell outta dodge dont wait to see what happens. (if you have it use ext cam to watch the action) the yamato can be sunk with 6-8 well placed shots spead out in different areas but most times you need 10 and if you try less, in most cases you wont get a chance to try again try my torpedo mod and you have a torpedo test mission where you can see just what it takes to sink each ship, and if your not worried about realism you might want to try the mod too |

I remember when I was on the Archerfish ssn-678 we had a picture of our namesake Archerfish ss-311 mounted on the Ops upper level compartment. It was a painting of the SS-311 sinking the Shinano. I wish I had that painting today....
