An escort mission today. 3 SB-2s were off to bomb a factory near Vilisomethingunpronouncable... My flight of 3 took off to clear the way. It seems the Finns have only got J-8As and to be honest the crews aren't great either. Having said that I only got one kill today. Set his engine on fire after a few bursts, but he still kepth flying around. Crazy Finns..... I have heard there is a Finnish ace called Dowly in the area but we have yet to meet him. Intelligence call him "The Ferret". Well once he meets this Russian terrier he will have met his match.... I also have to speak to my wingmen about shooting over my shoulder...They cause more casualties to our own side than the enemy...
