Another bloody loss for the Panthers. If they dont get themselves straight, I'm flying over, punching Fox in the balls, and taking over the team myself.

Preseason or not, a first unit that hasn't even punted yet? That's damned good.

Chucky admits he's "Chucky". Chucky is funny, he's a keeper as a commentator. Dig the old packer pix of Chucky.

Haha, the majority of his passing yards were behind the line of scrimmage ... Tavaris Jackson could've done that while saving the Vikes $12 million...

Not to give Favvvvvvvvvvray any praise, but it's the little things that he can do ( because of being around forever ) that Jackson can't. Staring off defenders, patience in the pocket, etc. Those little intricacies matter a whole bunch come the regular season.

The big question will be, can his body hold up for the duration of the season. Yeah he had the arm surgery, but....

One thing that we have not seen a whole lot have been deep passes. He will need to do this in order to stretch the defense which really benefits Peterson. If he does not it will really limit what they can do, even with the big man on the ground.

Did you see the shot of Jackson sitting on the bench in the 4th quarter. Poor guy, bored outta his mind.

I don't disagree with you, totally. But I can't get over the fact that he just hasn't looked all that sharp so far. His good plays have been more system than Brett. Plus, I'm not going to lie ... that crackback block really pissed me off. You can end a guy's career with that.

Yeah, I know its just preseason but I can't imagine he's going to be getting any better and I can't help but notice that the playcalling has been really kind to him. Plus it was the Texans.

It's not that I'm anti-Favre ... not at all. For all this, I still love the guy. But, I AM anti-(insert divisional-rival quarterback here).

And it's nice to meet a Packers fan from Canada (I just KNEW that Canadians were good for something other than hockey! ).

Good News for the Panthers - they signed a DT that has some potential. Hayden was looking HORRIBLE. I have seen 300lb blocking sleds get more penetration that he was. There were a number of plays in the games where he was literally picked up and THROWN back because he stays high and lets OL's under his pads.

Now, if Lewis and this fella Leonard can take up some space in the middle, the DE's can get some pressure and the LB's can attack the ball. We might be able to pull a decent defence, though every guy out there has looked like they need some basic tackling work.

We are now on the third DC since Fox took the HC job. We continue to run soft cover 2 schemes - because regardless of the DC, Fox controls the defense.

For the Panthers to reach their potential, they need 2 more things that they lack. A decent QB (Matt Moore - our 3rd stringer - has outplayed both Jake Delhomme and Josh McCown this preseason) and a defence that doesn't live by "bend but don't break".
