After I click "Generate," a notepad with the title of SH3Weather pops up on my desktop. Enclosed are the following numbers: #2006-06-11 22:39:55#,"0","0","0","0","217","1","1","0","1","1 1",9,3,#FALSE#

What in God's name does that mean?

Rose, You did install the weather mod to the default install ???

Unzip the mod to your preferred folder mine goes in a folder called SH3 downloads

Then copy and paste the weather icon from the unzipped file to your main SH3 Dir, once pasted right click on the weather icon and then send to "Create shortcut" desktop, and use that to open SH3 weather mod.....Everything should then be fine

Sounds like from your notepad message that you have not installed it right....???

I have my wave height set for X1.25 with SH3CMDR with the weather mod......the swell looks to me a little more realistic

Interesting. That's the generated settings which are written to a log file that SH3Weather creates after it is run. I have never seen it "auto-open" before though. :hmm:

Do you get any kind of confirmation message from SH3Weather after you press "Generate"? If so, then it would be safe to assume that it has worked. If not, then I don't know, unless of course it is not installed correctly.

It says "SCR and Campaign layers updated successfully" (something like that)... so it must've worked. Although its weird that it just pops up on my desktop.
