When using RFB, you must click on the ammo icon and the gun will load. In real life, the guns didn't stay loaded.

As far as installation order, we need to know what you're running before we can help. BTW, most of the mods have a read me that will tell you install orders and the major mods like RFB, TMO, RSRDC, PE, E4...etc have instructions on the first page on how to install.

OK well after re-installing everything the bug with the ammunition has gone but im still getting a problem with with the sonar room ie I cant see anything in there although this is just with the UBM expansion the front end of the game now I think looks as it should ie no dashes for the names. I do know that some else posted this blank screen in sonar suite problem but dont think any1 helped him get it fixed though this was just 1 gripe he had with the game some of the others were pretty minor

Heres List of my currently installed MODS and there installation order if any1 KNOWS there incorrectly installed let me know though Im pretty sure it cant be far wrong... Also im not sure if im running the latest or most compatible versions of the MODS some direction here would be nice

Again, there is no bug with deck gun/flack gun ammunition. You have to click the shell icon for the gun to load. It's not that difficult to figure out.

As I have stated that problem I have now rectified ..... but the issue which is basically stopping me from using the UBOAT exp with the blank (Black) screen whenever I switch to the sonar station. Is that easy to figure out as well.? Has to be the MODS and/or there order but which and how do I fix this??

Ok well had a few more CTDs and even the dreaded blue screen of death but its been worth me experimenting with different MOD combinations I now have it looking nice sounding nice and yeah playing nice the only real thing I would like to install is the maxoptics3 as they allow you to almost identify a target even from long range. There is also an AOB mod, now is this because there are problems with manual targetting ?? I only ever play the game on 100% realism and was beggining to wonder why so many torpedoes were missing is this an essential install?

But im not sure I can add these to the installs without causing a problem ctd or otherwise unstable. However musnt grumble Oh just 1 thing is there a mod which would reduce the number of air attacks ?? I cant beleive that subs would of had as many air attacks as what seem to be in the game

Heres my list of installed MODS in case anybody wants to see what this configuration plays like: Also they can rest assured its not going to freak out on them One thing though theve all been installed with JSGME which I would reccomend as ive already needed to totally re-install everything when I installed a MOD that wasnt JSGME compat :

trigger maru overhauled 152
tmo enable uboat v4
john hamms uniform mod v2.2
kakermann & lurker hlb destroyer sensors
poul sound for sh4
bbc world
cbs news sound mod
enviromental 4.5 mod
ROW sound effects v8

NB:NOT OK GOT BLUE DEATH SCREEN WITH GERMANS ON DELIVERING SUPPLIES

spaxs sh4 uboat speech fix v8 (I only use this when playing uboat campaign as its German language)

Yup, and as you already know by now, even complete reinstallation of the game is not a disaster. Tell you what I finally did, because I actually enjoy tweaking to potential destruction. Immediately after making a clean installation I copied my entire Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific directory into a new one: SH4 Pristeen. Then I write protected it. That way when corrupted files rear their ugly heads, it's a simple matter of copy and paste to fix it!

Heh thats not bad idea but gonna need to get another hard drive before I can go there

Well I thought it was ok but just as I was about to deliver some supplies in the German career (first time that Sonar suite has worked in the UBM campaign) I got that dreaded blue screen of death again It seems odd that such a trivial event should play havoc with the program SO WHAT I SAID EARLIER ISNT EXACTLEY CORRECT

So does any1 know why this happens on delivering the supplies?? the game ran flawlessly till that moment If I had a good idea which MOD it was id probably save weeks of hassle as to find this bug you need to virtually complete the mission

But ill deffo bare that tip in mind Rockin
