After reading all your posts I tried it again a few minutes ago and it plays with no disc.
My game case say's "IL2 STURMOVIC 1946 5 GAMES IN ONE" And at the top of case it say's "ALL-NEW CONTENT" plus the entire IL2 COLLECTION " On the spine it says "The Signature Collection: Multi Disc." |

I have the dvd version updated to the 408 patch no need for disc ...the no cd crack was included with the 408 patch
