2 hits on the moon were spotted by a telescope last July,2018. Though neither were huge, the flashes from the explosions as they hit could be seen. Takes a bit for the gif to load, but it clearly shows them .

I read this news story as well. I'm not sure if they plan to send a robot or actually send people.

I seems to remember Dowly made a thread about this landing on the backside of the moon.

Furthermore.

In my first thread I wrote
"I guess such a huge explosion should have send soundwave around the world or most of it."

Been rethinking a little

This explosion happened above the earth/atmosphere so it's almost impossible that we or someone could have heard it
