Their missiles I do not fear as lonmg as they do not have ABC warheads.

But the RG and especially their subordinate special and terror commands - these must be taken care of. Their ideological drill and fanatical religious motivation makes them tough and unscrupulous, their ways are hard to be stopped by conventional military. I have no doubt that Iran will try to strike back by terror attacks if given the chance. Not necessarily against military targets, but civilian ones. And likely not only in the region, but Europe as well.

I have met RG. Did not like what I saw in their eyes, not at all. I doubt it became better in the many years since then.

Almost all Iranians are fervent patriots. Old and young, male and female, soldier and civilian. If you think only Americans can exaggerate patriotism, think twice.

I do not say we should be intimidated and fall back from the challenge. I say we should keep a very sharp eye on them. These fanatics of the RG are dangerous for sure. And worse: they know discipline.

Also do not underestimate Iranian engineers' talent for finding working improvisations. You are talking about the probably best-educated technical intelligentia in the Muslim world. Their modern society took great benefit from the European ionfluence that once as there. It shows in the strong Bildungsbürgertum that they had and that now only slowly seems to fade.
