I have to apologise for not offering any input lately on ZW's mods,I have had quite a lot of other stuff to do lately.
Hopefully I will be able to try out the new missions soon.I have had a few problems, namely starting the game but that is all sorted now.I have never had a crash in-game but I have only had a quick blast and not completed any of the missions. Chucky. |

Hi members,
first of all i must appologize for my bad english, i am not a native speaker. I didnt post any replys because i wrote ZW about my bugs and waited for his answer. Now i read about this thread and i must say frinik your right with gathering bug reports. I have the same bugs as you frinik and kdf. Later i give my pc specs. Some other bugs that are disturbing me are (these were found in the original game too) 1, when playing commander or gunner and give order to driver to pull back, motor stalls. this causes some more hits on my tank 2, when motor is overheating, driver is calling "Motor an" which means motor on. "Motor aus" or maybe "Motor heiss gelaufen" or "Motor läuft heiss" is more realistic. 3, My wingman in mission one is driving like a racer among russian tanks and is killed. Or when russian tanks are knocked out, my wingman is following me but when he runs into a wrecked tank he stays in place instead following me. If i remember any other bugs i will report. PC specs: Win7 32 bit Geforce x295 graphics card 4x 3,4 amd athlon (965) 4Gb ram 1 TB HDD I must say, that ZW is doing a great job. He is alone and is doing his best but he tries to helpus immediately. I am verry pleased to have a such cool forum and members Lc Last edited by LcSummers; 02-04-10 at 01:29 AM. |

Hi Lc,
Yes I have experienced almost the same bugs in mission one Tigers Shake K>urtenki, a wingman gettign killed by rushing too fast and the Hanomag getting stuck in the wreckage. The other wingman stays behind in the village and sometimes gets killed too. Those are AI bugs which ZW has partly corrected but there s still work to do in that area.I ll report them to him so he can work on it but as part of the whole Kursk release. The bug with the engine I haven´t experienced but I drive automatic so may be that s why(drive my tank like my car with automatic transmission ![]() Every bug must be reported so they can be catalogued in order of importance and later addressed based on urgency and priorities. ZW is indeed great because he takes everything seriously. He is American by birth but German in his character, a born perfectionist which is what we need! He will release any day now his fixes for the latest release Tigers Break Out and we wills ee what has been correected as it will impatc the first mission as well. Thanks for sharing and welcome to our cool group of Zw members. regards Frinik |

To my Tanker Kameraden, Thank you for your kind words,
I am here to report to you my progress on the bug issues. The "hard to kill" issues have been repaired as well as the Panzer III turret texture map and many others. The MFD map issue is fixed BUT there still persists a random problem that occurs that has been vexing me. Although simply catching it as soon as I enter the mission and then immediately restarting the mission the problem (like a phantom) vanishes. My efforts to make the stock German Mission 6 work have ended. From now on I will only do complete replacement missions and totally scrap the default single player missions. Repairing and tweaking the stock missions is a huge waste of time and I think in time I will make them obsolete. As for the mission 6 update I have been doing hours of testing using it so all efforts have not been in vain. Much has been learned and will benefit my Kursk release. Thank you so much for your patients and I will e-mail you when the latest Mission 6 update is ready for D/L Sincerely, ZW PS: FORWARDS - TO KURSK! |

Hi frinik,
thank you for support, this pushes me further to find bugs and report them, maybe to put in some ideas later on. quote "the bug with the engine I haven´t experienced" The message appears when you driving around with 3000 rpms in the Tiger tank. It is very hard to achieve 2400 or 2600rpms. I think after the release of Kursk and SOME WHISHES this will be the best tanksim game on "market" thanks to ZWs "fanatism" to create a really nice tank game. Wishes i have too but maybe later will ZW "hear our whishes" as he has a lot to do and its too early. 1, camoed tank with maybe killmarks 2, Panther G late type and Tiger II 3, Opportunity to bail out crew when tank is hit 4, Maybe see my Kameraden inside my tank 5, AI radio operator/MG gunner to fire at enemy soldiers so my gunner wont fire at them. He should destroy enemy tanks Cheers to all members and Panzerkameraden Thank you ZW looking forward to Kursk and all missions. Last edited by LcSummers; 02-03-10 at 02:04 PM. |

I have you covered LC, the engin RPM is 3000rpm Max and the auto- driver has the RPM at 2400RPM. The Killmarks, Unit markings and in-side crew are for new models only Manual drive speed increase. ![]() Zoom capability in cupula. ![]() |

Fixes for updated mission release for zw's members
Hello Zeewolf. Bug report as per my e-mail to you. For other members info, main problem is loss (invisible terrain) of terrain under tracks, some external pulsing flickering graphics and internal views keep flicking back to straight ahead (if for example as the driver looking at steering wheel & pedals below view flicks back to drivers aperture/window. As gunner the sight "runs away" upwards (in F5 expanded view )you can drag it back but then it runs up again.
Installation worked fine before (had to add the 2 dll files when I first installed it). Strangely after first ZW mod install (i.e. the latest as I didn't use the Xmas issue of mission updates) my first German mission ran OK until about 5 min into engagement then tank "climbed" up onto an invisible hill and became airborne! Then the graphic glitches started. Uninstalled mod (OK but extracted the mscvp etc70/71 files. When reinstalled in default T34vsTiger mode as original graphic glitches (flickering invisible terrain) persisted. I searched the registry for "leftovers" but found none. Any advice where to check for traces of files that may be left would be appreciated (I looked in Windows/regedit/HKEY-software) but found nothing untoward to delete. Finally got it back to square one running OK - remodded and same thing happened. ![]() Now uninstalled and trying to get back to square one again. Now doing what all good Panzer commanders do facing inevitable defeat - I've poured a large schnapps and loaded my luger. Odd though as other games are running OK (IL2 1946, COD, OFPDR and Karkov 1942) for example and drivers for GPU must be OK one assumes, if running fine previously. Kinda weird eh? Well here's hoping, not given up yet still hanging in there but any advice welcome. Morttheslayer |

Hi Morttheslayer,
First, Unload you Luger then read the following carefully, This certainly sounds like a hardware conflict. Are the following Files in your T34 T34vsTiger folder: Lighthouse Interactive\T34vsTiger 1.) msvci70.dll 2.) msvcp71.dll 3.) msvcr70.dll 4.) msvcr71.dll 5.) GDIPLUS.DLL Yes or No? ![]() ![]() ZW ![]() |

GDIPLUS.DLL Yes or No? ![]() ![]() Hi Zee Yes luckily I couldn't find the 9mm ammo so I persevered then a strange thing happened (on the way to the killing zone).............! After I re-installed the Game twice, (Irish joke to be sure to be sure!!)and your mod twice - I had a small re-occurrence (flickering) but very minor. I rebooted and had no more problems - ran solid (so far)! ![]() What I've seen so far looks excellent. The battles seem a little more open to tank manouvreing/combat (BTW should the cross hairs illuminate with the reticule segments as mine doesn't/can't remember if it did before? -- I hit the illum key in my excitement BTW). Anyway thanks for quick response and I'll get back later - its 24.00 Zulu Time in the UK and us Panzer Commanders have to get some sleep apparently (according to Head of Gestapo here --- or my wife actually!!) All the best Mort |

ZW I think making your own missions make sense as you can make them better than the original ones.

Hey frinik, thanks for your willingness to help. I've been busy for the last few days, so I do appologize for not getting back to your attempts to help me. It is late here at this time, so I will try and post as much detail as I can about my problems tommorow with some screenshots I took of the error messages.

Thanks Kamraden, I finished the UP-Date version 2.0, be sure to check your e-mail spam folders. And e-mail me a return so I know you received my first e-mail announcement. A tip for a smooth install : After you install my new up-date be sure to RE-Boot your system. This will clear any virtual cache. This is an area that needs to be clean before you start the program to eliminate those error messages. All the Best ![]() ZW |
