IL2 Questions...
This is probably going to sound bad, but How do you adjust the Gunsight on the German aircraft...?
is there a Keyboard layout file that is downloadable with all the unassigned commands in it? (its easier to learn said commands rather than trying to come up with the binds myself...) After 8 or so years of this game, I guess I should learn how to actually play it!

The German gunsight nor the Allied are adjustable(unless you talk about the late war Gyro Gunsights)..but you can play with some camera settings
by IL2's Default settings: SHIFT+F1 will make the camera center on the Gunsight. DELETE - END - DOWNPAGE are Zoom options HunterICX

Thought I'd ask in this same thread, no sense in making a new thread. Is there a minimum speed to the net speed considering the multiplayer one should have if one is about to get IL-2 1946 as an early X-mas present...?

a Basic DSL would do.
if you could give the details about the Download speed and Upload speed it would gives us a better clue. HunterICX

I measured both the down and up and they were in the 0,4 mb region. I could get an upgrade up to 1 mb relatively cheaply, it just feels stupid to pay for internet when I used to have it for free.

0,40 mbit?
so if I'm correct you are able to download files at 40kb/s? HunterICX

Yes.
@OTH That should be enough for small/medium size maps/missions. I dont know how it'd fare with big maps with lots of groundobjects and planes in the air. |

Yea, aroundish 40. Can be quicker depending on source. Hmm, well I guess it's feasible then, especially if I'll go for the speed upgrade.
Edit. Ok re-did the test, it says Download 0,46 Mb/s and Upload 0,34 Mb/s. Not fast but at least it's mobile. |

Should be enough. In my squadron there was someone using a 56K modem and it worked (though poorly).
