Freetrack: Freeware tracking software for DIY

I just found out recently that there is freeware head movement tracking software. It requires a webcam and homemade setup of inexpensive leds, and might give good results.

Works great, and saved me the trouble of buying a TIR.

I didn't exactly build anything myself though, just used a TrackClip Pro and a webcam.
