How fast is European internet?

cable modem, currently 4096/512 down/up
about 50$ pr month, way too expensive compared to competitors, but difficult to choose another ISP where I live...

no i think the upload is slower but i cant remember how much

I think the Swedes have som crazy internet thing going on. Here i only have 20Mb down and 1Mb up.

ok now i have got it straght just run a speed test and the results were
6310/380Kbps Down/Up

Adsl2+ 12Mbits download/ 1 Mbit upload at 39 € per month.
No caps, full bandwidth always available (up and down), no traffic shaping of any kind. Isn't life wonderfull ?
