motherboard question

I have been talking to hp for an hour and they give me the runaround,so i think there must be people here who can do wonders with computers.So here is my question .............I have a hp pavillion a1626n pc and i wanted to upgrade the motherboard they dont recomend it,Any one here have the same pc and if so is the mobo upgradable?I can take it to a pc shop and get the board tattoed so thats not a problem.Any thoughts?

P.S. i just heard a LeoVampires passing ,I did not know him well ,but he must have been a great person as he is spoken of very highly.
