Default OT:Another Sub sailor dies

I know many of you did not know this man, but while I volunteered at the U.S.S. Batfish I got to know him. His name was O.R. "Dick" Fogle an electricians mate who served on the: U.S.S. Haddock, U.S.S. Seawolf, and the U.S.S. Devilfish, he made nine patrols, and the life expectancy of a sub sailor was only four. This man was a real great man and I enjoyed the small time in which I got to know him, I just found out last thursday that he died three weeks ago. He told me many things in which I did not know. The world will not be the same without him, or any of the subsailors.
He told me that the captain on the Seawolf I believe was able to get under in 30 seconds, and that the captain was employed to help come up with the amazing shot in "Run Silent Run Deep"
I wish someone would make a credible movie about the sub sailors in order to perpetuate their amazing actions in WWII.

One man is trying, Brett Scott Miller he made an amazing video on the Batfish, but cant sell it because of music rights, the Batfish has it to show the visitors but they cant sell it which sucks. However he is making another movie, make sure to check out the Batfish section of the website because he has interviews of the crew.

here is his website: http://http://www.bretscottmiller.com/index.php
