Anyone having any experience with Virpil products?

Looking to upograde my flight stick setup, mainly for DCS helis and Elite Dangerous, I am looking at Virpil's options but info on how they feel is hard to come by so I'm asking here.

For DCS and helis, I need a smooth center (not sticky or needed to be punched off center like some other sticks out there). Anyone of you guys have their sticks and bases and if so, how would you say they are with regards to what I said above about a smooth center? Any opinion on general quality and if the price is worth it?
