Hull Numbers?

In the .txt files for each class is a setting "HullNumbers=FALSE". This setting is false (off) by default as shown. I changed this to TRUE expecting to see the hull numbers show up on the sails of each boat dependent on the hull number generated.

The sails still remain naked to me for the older boats like the Skipjack, Permit, and Sturgeon which had their hull numbers on their sails. In fact I believe even the Los Angeles class had them earlier on.

At any rate, I was wondering if there is something I am missing, such as specifying a hull number on this setting, or if it is simply a setting which does nothing (or does something different than I was thinking).
