I was on patrol just west of Gibraltar in the worst fog I had ever seen when I get the ship sighted report. going to the map I found that I had just drifted into the middle of a lightly escorted large convoy! So without further hesitation I launched a slew of torps in every direction! 79,000 tons to the bottom! WIlhelm Klempf returned to a Knights cross!!! AOD not SHIII
