Though did they also require you to create an account on their website for the game before you could actually use it and enter your credit card information into the store section of your account to access new features? No, they didn't. And that's why they failed. Miserably. Combined with the fact that their software didn't have an autodetection system for keygens. It's kind of like STEAM's VAC system for ROF.

I checked WWIAirCombat.com and got a link to the ROF blog. Last month, the total number of copies sold was announced to be over 45,000, with some 20,000 in Russia alone.
