Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland goes Brazil
They have bought a seocond huge building and linked it to their existing base with a bridging corridor. That way they won an additional 3000 sqm. Their latest addition, Rio de Janeiro with 46 sqm, has just opened:
65000 working hours, built by experts in Southamerica and then shipped to Hamburg. 300+ buildings, 20000 figurines, ca. 85 trains. Total track length: 423 m. 1000 miniaturel cars, 12000 trees, 18000 LEDs. This habitat will be complemented in coming years with the Amazonas region, Patagonia, Middle America and the Caribean.
