RIP Kyösti Karhila
Another Finnish ace passes on. Captain Kyösti Karhila died on 16. of September.
Karhila flew 304 sorties and downed 32 Soviet planes during the Continuation War. F18 Hornet will make a pass over the Hietaniemi graveyard today between 14:00-14:30 in Captain Karhila's memory. RIP |

Yea, there was some talk about if or not they should make the fly over in his honour. I say go for it, we have hornet's flying over where I live pretty often. Or at least recently because of some war exercise.
