Default Cheaters on G4: go ahead and kill yourself

Anyone watch this? Basically, it's a show where someone (client) who thinks their gf/bf/spouse is cheating on them, they contact the show. The Cheaters crew plays private eye and follows the suspected gf/bf/spouse with hidden cameras. They catch the bf/gf/spouse hooking up with someone else. Then they share their findings with the client and pop in on the cheaters for a confrontation.

Man, aside from the lying and freaking out, the emotional scarring that takes place must be incredible. Every now and then the third party goes off with "What? You're married?!" but often they know each other.

Yeah, this is a good show for anyone considering marriage

I'm guessing they pay all parties involved to use their faces on camera...?

Yeah the show is incredible bull****, but somehow interesting at the same time. Maybe I'm a bit evil, but imho by far the best moment was when the host "got stabbed"

Reminds me of the time the wife and I were low on money and I sent her to work one evening at Newcastle Quayside for a little bit extra.

I sat up all night and eventually she came home at 6am.

She emptied her purse and the sum total was £30 and 5pence (£1 = 100 pence).

I said "What greedy bastid only gave you 5 pence?"

She replied "All of them".

I watched this show on occasion on my local network tv before i got cable, and never plan on watching it now..

Stuff i watch instead: Spongebob Squarepants, Castle, and movies on HBO..

Didn't ever know that the host got stabbed though, that's the first I've heard of it

There are two that stick out in my mind. One is when they caught this guy in a hotel room with some woman. They go for the confrontation, open the door to the hotel room, and the guy is in there in handcuffs, wearing a leather speedo and a leather face mask. The woman is dressed all in leather straps and has a bullwhip. The guy, in his costume, with his wife yelling at him goes running out accross the hotel parking lot with everyone stareing and laughing.

The other one was where they caught this guy's wife sneaking weomen into the house while he's gone. He goes in to confront them with the crew. They open the bedroom door, and see that the bedroom is all done up with all this wierd Christmas lights, sparkly glitter covered religious statue, feathers, there's yellow tape strung around the bed and all over the room that reads "construction zone" or something like that and orange cones on the floor around the bed.

The wife is handcuffed to the bed and there's all these weoment standing around wearing nothing but panties, wearing hard hats, their faces painted up like clowns. They have crosses made of black electrical tape tapped to their bodies, and more wierd clown paint all over.

All the ladies run out of the room when they enter and the husband is like "WTF !?!!", Then he opens his closet and two more girls in clown makup pop out and run for cover.

The funny thing with that one was that the wife was the one who was pissed off at the husband for interrupting ! The husband was like "Yeah.. that's a bit wierd for me. I'm SO breaking this relationship off !"

Yeah, I haven't seen that ep yet. I like watching this show, not sure why, maybe I like to see people bring themselves down... And man, the lame excuses and BS they spout when they are busted.

It's really sad when married people are caught having an affair. It's interesting that so much stock is placed in the state of marriage, but if someone has an affair, there are no civil penalties at all. Break the marriage vows and cause serious emotional harm to another person? No problem.

This show is one of me and my wife's guilty weekend pleasures. The show is Grade A Stupid TV (and I piss her off doing my Joey Grecko impersonation constantly; you know, that loose stoccatto-pause way of "breaking the news"), but everyone needs a show like that. Considering that I only watch sports, news, and my one nerd-indulgence (Battlestar Gallactica) is over, I need some form of trailer park entertainment.

As far as the cheating goes, there's not much I find more socially deplorable than infidelity. I've been happily married for 17 years, and have discovered the "secret" to keeping the flames burning: keep talking together, keep laughing together, be honest, and be disciplined. Sure, there's always temptations ... but none of them are worth risking a good relationship. If it is worth it, then you need to do an integrity check and get out first.
