Default Dowly´s IL-2 Guncam footage part 1

I know, I know. Should´ve put this under the games, but who reads that section anyway??

I started to play IL-2 again yesterday and decided to take some old replays I had laying around and edit them to look like as if they are WWII era guncam films. I´m planning to record all my kills and take the best ones to make part 2 of the guncam film.

Anyways, here´s the part 1. Sorry it is not in Youtube, the old film effect gets too choppy when using Youtube. Hope you like it!

23,8MB ~4min

Nice - I too am an IL-2 lover (one of UBI's better releases). There were some close calls on collisions and v.close on the blackout.

Are you using FB + AEP + PF? There were some aircraft that I have yet to encounter.

I'm now heading along to your forum - eagerly awaiting further updates.

I had the zoom on max, so what seemed to be close to collision, wasnt actually. Well, in the uboat scene I almost hit the water and in the P38 scene I didnt expect the tail section to blow off so I had to quickly pull up instead of the planned roll under it.

Yes, I´m using IL-2 & FB, I have the PF, but I cant find it.

Edit: I try and get more fighter vs. fighter kills to the part 2. Tho, it all depends of the missions they give me. Also, I try to get it look better, I used the Windows Movie Maker for this, but I have the Sony Vegas editing proggie too. It gives a pretty good old film effect with jittering and all.
