Hello all, I recently was sorting through my old boxed games and came across SH4, gold edition V1.5 so I loaded it up and forgot how much I enjoyed playing it. I remember I installed a couple of mods and as far as I can remember one was to make the water and ship wakes look more realistic and the other was the Pacific environment look much better but I can't seem to find them now. Would anyone know of these mods or similar and where to find them please. I have looked through loads of mods but can't seem to locate anything like the above.
Thank for any help. |

Fall of the Rising Sun Ultimate thread - download link in that first post.
... and, if you ever liked Webster's Game Fixes Only, THEBERBSTER recently re-did that: THEBERBSTEES All In One Beginners Mega Mod Both mods have their own environmental tweaks. Another one to consider would be Bleiente's Ralles RealModPack for TMO_RSRDC_OTC, which is a "souped-up" version of TMO/RSRDC with Bleiente's environmental tweaks that are nicely done.

See the links at the bottom of this post:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...29#post2543629 ... about JSGME. Folder structure is important, as is your NOT having the game installed in a "Program Files" Windows directory. In a misguided (my opinion) attempt to protect the computer users from themselves, MS instituted UAC (User Access Control) with their Vista version, and any "unauthorized" attempts to alter certain type files in protected folders results in Windows rolling back the edits. You then end up with a partially activated mod. JSGME is not an "authorized" Windows app - it's too old. You need to have Silent Hunter installed in a folder you've created outside of Windows UAC control, such as "C:\Games \Silent Hunter..." ![]()
