Narwhal class has no crew....

ive downloaded the Narwhal out of bonus content and I started a single mission to test it out and to see what it looked like and it was like a ghost ship. no crew at all on bridge or below. any suggestions ??

The problem is the .upc file.

As benji said, the problem is most likely in the *.upc file (which has the crew roster for the boat). The bonus mod was made with certain conventions in this area; if your mod loadout doesn't use the same ones, problems result. The game is touchy about these things.

Hmmm, not sure really. The individual sub type crew rosters much match up with the general crew info, or they will not show up.

When I was working on the Narwhal for ISP, I had thought to use the New version you are trying to use, but there were too many problems for me to sort out. The 'old' RSRDC version was easier to deal with. Even with that I had enough problems. I could never get the crews exactly how I wanted them.

Maybe someone else knows more about the crew/roster business; to me it was a huge mess, and I hated dealing with it. If you are willing to mod the crew files, I'm sure you can get it to work, but it might be more work than you're willing to take on.

What other mods are you using with the Narwhal?

Yes, especially is it installed on Stock 1.5, GFO, TMO v2.5, TMO v??, RFB or another megamod?

It should plug right in to Stock 1.5, GFO, & RFB.

Update, with the patch: "Donation_Narwhal_v185_TMO.7z", the Donation NARWHAL does work in TMO 2.5

The patch for TMO 2.5 is missing. I thought the donation period was over, however the dl link takes you to a page to dl the NARWHAL only. I do have the patch..... for TMO 2.1 which also works in TMO 2.5 because it modifies similar UPC files as small_patch for TMO 2.5
