Default Nice meteor shower going on.

Counted about 30 in 10 minutes, but it peaks 1-3 AM east coast....Some are really big.

Seriously, my wife and I laid flat in a heated sleeping bag on the 5th tee to watch them... it was quite a show at 3AM.

There was supposed to be or possibly another shower from a different comet, started with a W, but we didn't wait until almost dawn to see if it happened. Don't think that's ever happened before. I swear I believe this fits with 12/21, so I've decided to wrap myself in two layers of tin foil.

Wednesday i left New Jersey at 5:20am... i drove it straight through and got home at 3:20am, the last few hours of the drive i thought i was hallucinating as suddenly little streaks of light would race across the sky and by the time i looked up to really focus on them they were gone.

i thought i was just really tired. but sure enough i was seeing the shower.
