GWX4 Uboats?

Hello Kaleuns,

I know the GWX4 project had been cancelled, but I remeber that they showed some improved and very good looking Uboatmodels on their homepage some time ago.

They were supposed to be part of GWX4, but it (unfortunately) never happened.

Will it be possible that these Uboats will be released as a stand-alone Mod?

Even if they´re unfinished, maybe some talented Modders (quite sure that there are a few around in this forum) might finish them and they would be available for the community?

Of the GWX 4 Subs Ref did?
Only the Type IXC is in my hands.
No other version is held by any of the GWX team that I am aware of.
Ref left SubSim nearly a year ago and has not answered e-mails nor PM's.
What is left of the GWX Team may do a release at some point of the IXC.
But I'll not promise that it will happen.
We do have some questions about would it be proper to use his work.
I'd say it's Jimbuna and Kpt's call.

They had been shown on the Grey Wolves homepage, but have been taken off as the project GWX4 was cancelled

Somewhere in the SH5 workshop thread there are images of Ref's work.
They are copied to my Photobucket account also.
If you can't find them?
Let me know and I'll post up the images.
The Type IXC is quit a bit of kit!

And I do have all the files ready to go for SH4.
But it is not my call as I stated before.

I flipped through the SH5 Mods Workshop but didn´t find them.

There will be no exceptions!
If I release a Scheneltachback mod?

It will be
'Ref's Type ICX for GWX 4 Scheneltachback by Privateer'

Ref's Type ICX for GWX 4 must always be stated first!

I will not back down from that demand!
And I will do all I can to inforce it.
Buried credits will not be allowed!

I have to much respect for ref to allow this release to be just taken
without proper respects paid.

No parts of this release may be modified without prior permissions of the
releaseing parties.
That being the GWX Team.
