I have downloaded a couple of mods to try. How do I load the mods into the game? I looked in the Options section but did not see anything. I didnt see any mention of how to load mods in the manual.
Any help is appreciated! |

You need the JSGME (Jonesoft Gereric Mod Enabler). See one of the sticky threads in this forum.

I have the lifeboat mod I wanted to try first. I will install the mod enabler tonite. Thanks. I saw the thread of must have mods and am excited to try them out. I am still in training exams so I have plenty of time.

![]() Is it possible to have the game create a text or data file? I would like to create a file with the pertinent information when a contact report is sent and/or when a patrol report is sent. This might be accomplished through scripting. Does anyone know that scripting language? I have used Lua in the past.
The reason for this is that I want to SH3 to communicate via text files with Harpoon 3. This way, when a sub encounters a convoy, a text file is generated that is read by H3. Also, this is from a wikipedia article on destroyer command: "One of the features was the ability to play against owners of Silent Hunter II online, allowing both destroyer and U-Boat commanders to square off against each other." Can you match up Destroyer command with SH3?
